NJ "Luxury Tax" surcharge on vehicle price > $45000 and EPA rating < 19 MPG
The link in your post says the following: Effective July 15, 2006, new car dealerships are responsible for collecting a 0.4% surcharge on the new sale or lease of vehicles priced $45,000 or greater or on vehicles having an EPA rating of less than 19 miles per gallon. They correctly collected it because of the vehicle price, the MPG is irrelevant because of the "or".
Adjustable Electric Seats - JLwranglerforums.com
Makes perfect sense, since Stellantis views and prices the Jeep brand (Wrangler included) as luxury vehicles. As such, the demand for power seats has increased and Stellantis complied with the need.
Rival Reviewed: 2025 4Runner First Drive Reviews Are In
By contrast you have driven European luxury cars with the most advanced sound deadening systems and they are way quieter. Really? I am surprised that the Jeep is THAT much louder than those cars...LOL. Actually the Defender I drove was an the 2.0L 110 and they cost about about the same as a Rubicon X and much less than a 392.
Value of 4xe | Jeep Wrangler Forums (JL / JLU) -- Rubicon, 4xe, 392 ...
Man, you are a masochist. Get beat up on a 4Xe, then trade for a Santa Cruz? You'll get beat up all over again when you want to trade out of it in a year. EVs and PHEVs, with a few rare exceptions, loose value quickly, even more so than luxury cars. Not to mention that we are in a market where no one is buying much of anything due to runaway inflation. Car lots are filled with new and used ...
Rattling upon acceleration | Jeep Wrangler Forums (JL / JLU) -- Rubicon ...
The super quiet drveshaft designs used in luxury cars are not a solution for off-road work....spinning bits with rubber components and tight clearance centering.....not something to bounce off a rock or log! My 16 year old Tracker manual trans car has similar noise AND it has loud rattle with the clutch engaged in neutral at idle.
C vs D or E | Jeep Wrangler Forums (JL / JLU) -- Rubicon, 4xe, 392 ...
Went from C Rated KO2's to same size E rated MT's. Pressured up from 34psi to 40psi for road. Found that the E are just fine. Not soft but very manageable. No big deal. E is overkill for a JL but if that is your desired tire rating, then go E. Its a Jeep, they are not luxury cars.
2026 Jeep Wrangler Whitecap [12/12/25 Reveal]
A tribute like this doesn’t happen often. The 2026 Jeep Wrangler High Country honors Jeep’s nod to our legacy of classic styling and rugged appeal. Get ready to drive in capable luxury. Not bad, but the spacing is off. Each of the blocks is a single letter. The 4,2,1,2,5, in the middle of the second sentence is really tough to crack.
Best / Worst Car Brands | Page 3 - JLwranglerforums.com
Luxury to the max, fast and drove like a sports sedan! At the same time, stupidly over engineered, ridiculously priced parts, impossible to work on as a shade tree mechanic. Fell apart at 100,000 miles and died with a blown head gasket. Maybe cars are just built to get thru the original lease agreement….
Automatic Car Wash - JLwranglerforums.com
I think we’ve all been beaten over the head with the fact that automatic car washes damage paint particularly causing swirl marks. I’m hoping to get some unbiased, experience-based responses as to whether that is true with modern car washes. For the most part I’ve used touch-free washes in the...
Suspension upgrades for better driving? - JLwranglerforums.com
Agree with a number of previous responses - drive it for a while first. I personally think stock suspension is fine on most roads, of course not the same as luxury or sports cars but it never will be no matter how much $$$ you throw at it.
